This documentary examines the industrial revolution in food production. It exposes how corporations are controlling food production with sole aim of maximizing profit without regards to how the technology will affect the crops, the animals and the environment. The corporation influences how the farm produce are grown even if it means using dangerous chemicals and unethical practice as long as their supply is maintained without disruption that is what matters to them. The first segment examines the industrial production of meat such as chicken, beef, and pork, calling it inhumane and economically and environmentally unsustainable. It exposes how the corporations are influencing farmers to use unethical practice in their farm feeding their animals wrong food so as to influence how fast this animals grows, thereby exposing them to contaminations such as E-coli. The second segment looks at the industrial production of grains and vegetables such as corn and soy beans and how big corporation such as Monsanto are genetically modifying seeds. The final segment is about the economic and legal power, such as food labelling regulations of the major food companies, the profits of which are based on supplying cheap but contaminated food, the heavy use of petroleum-based chemicals and the promotion of unhealthy food consumption habits by the American public. It also shows some farmers that still farm with integrity and move towards organic produces.

After watching this documentary my opinion has completely change towards cheap food I see at the big supermarket. I view big corporations such as Wal-Mart and McDonald as chief cause of our health problem because of how they have been feeding the poor masses with contaminated food all this years. I view big cooperation with disdain on how they have influence the government on regulating all the unethical practice by influencing regulatory policies. I am now determine to grown my own vegetable. I will no longer eat unhealthy and harmful from fast food.
