Motivation is the combination of desire, values, and beliefs that drives you to take action. These three motivating factors are at the starting place of why people advance. Motivation begins from an internal source and when shared with a reasonable goal and circumstance; the result is reaching the goal. The Merriam-Webster dictionary gives the definition of motivation as a stimulus or influence. This helps understand why some people are highly motivated, energetic and have a strong drive. There are different types of theories for motivation. Our company has three employees, Ella, Marcelo and Sam, each with different theories of motivation however, with the same goal of getting the promotion. There can be different stimuli for the motivating an individual with the same result. There is no wrong way for motivating towards a goal if it takes you to your goal.

His arousal is getting the promotion by using his personal past experiences to reach his goals. His factors for motivating for this promotion are his career expectations. He has a high self-esteem to include a quality of life that drives him to be the best in his job. His psychosocial theory of motivations is similar to the psychoanalytic theory.
