"I think movies are a reflection of how many in the world think. Humor is used to make us more accepting of things we normally would disapprove of such as illicit sex, homosexual relations, drug use, etc. Tyler Perry's movies all have a moral to them and portray life as it is. His movies also make you think." (Unasked, 2008)
"From what I've been seeing for several years there is far too much gore, violence and strange movies coming out. Every so often a good movie slips in there. It appears sex sells, but, it also impresses the youth of today that this is the way their sex life should be or at least close to it and movies are make believe and have always been for as long as movies have been made. Even movies that are about true events or real people are often changed to make it sexier or more exciting. There was one script writer I admired a great deal and it was a lady that wrote the script for 'Seabiscuit' (the story of a one eyed jockey that was too tall and a small horse that raced during the Depression.) The author of the script said that she would only let them make the movie it they followed exactly what she had written with few changes and that they did. The movie was a success. "
"People are such drones these days that they think they can keep up with the celebrities or live like them and lets face it, there are celebrities that are horrible role models. They are so spoiled and eccentric that they think they are floating in a place that deities belong. They forget they are human and think because they can act that they are immortal. Society falls for keeping up with the Jones and thinking that the movies and films portrayal of life it how it should be forgetting that, unless its a true life story, that its for entertainment purposes only. Then when the celebrities get treated differently when they do something illegal or immoral there are always spin doctors to say, ooops, they made a mistake, I thought to err is human, right!!!!! Its sickening what the celebrities have come to these days and even worse that society buys into their crap. When you have your health, family, true love and peace in your life, your wealth is much more then a million dollars a movie. Yes, money allows you to buy things but you can have all the material items around you and still be miserable, celebrities are also a great example of that, too. The bar on athletes and celebrities pay was put too high too fast
