Bonjour Ladies,

I hope you all are as excited as I am about this upcoming Pledge Season! Just a brief explanation about the purpose of this handbook and what all it entails for what you need to know. The main purpose of this handbook is to have as successful of a pledge season as possible. This is a great way for everyone to understand our responsibilities as members, and to better understand what the pledges are doing throughout the season. Hopefully, as you read through this handbook, you will be reminded of the great memories you made while pledging and also be encouraged to help our newest pledges make great memories as well.

Get Excited and Bonne Chance,

Kirsten

Pledge Purpose

The purpose of entering pledge ship into Gamma Sigma is for the pledges to learn about the values set forth by our club, and upon completion of pledging to have made the decision whether or not to enter into membership. During pledging our goal as a club is to help create bonds between the pledge class, and between the pledges and members. Pledges going through this process should develop lasting friendships, strengthen their character and faith and build a community that will continue to support and uplift them throughout their college career.
