My Teen Days

Why did Sams'life change? Sam is a seventeen year old who is struggling between school and caring for his son. He attends an alternative school for teens. It's his senior year and he is spending it figuring out how to care for his son Max and deal with school work.
Sam was a typical teen worrying about football and his girlfriend Brittany. His life changed after his girlfriend told him she was pregnant. Sam got his girlfriend now ex pregnant a year and half ago. His son is now eleven months.
When Bittany gave birth she decided she didnt want to keep the baby, she said she was to young to be a mother. She wanted to give him up for adoption. Sam soon went to see his son and visit Brittany in the hospital. The moment he lays eyes on his son he falls in love with him right away. Sam decided he was going to take care of his son and not put him up for adoption. Now Sam has full custody of his son, which he decides to name Max. Sam was willing to care for care for his son. Sam now how had full custody of his son.
Sam has struggles and more resposibilities. He is struggling through his teen years with a baby and the many responsibilities that come with it. He soon discovered that a baby did not come with instructions and to care for his son it was going to change his plans. He was going to give up sports and friends for diapers and bottles. Sam is now up all night feeding taking care of Max and trying to finish homework. He has to balance out school work and play time with his son. He struggles with raising Max and trying to get good grades in school.
Sam lives with his widowed father and son. Sam and max live with his father, but dont talk much. There relationship as father and son is not good. He strikes a hard bargain with his own single parent father. Sam's father agrees to only give financial support but that Sam must work after he graduates high school. Sam's dad will help pay for Max's needs so Sam can stay in school. He moves to an alternative school where it provides day care for students with babies. Sam has to sacrifice any hopes of college and engineering to work full time with his dad to pay him back after he graduates high school.
Sam says " It's hard being a full-time parent and student at the same time." He is overhelmed because of all the responsibilties he has. He repeats over and over that he feels like he has failed as a father, student, and friend. He beliefs
