Myself

Hi, my name is Dorothy Dukes and I'm currently attending Boyd H.Anderson High School. There's some things that have influenced who I am today. But one particular thing has been my family history. My family is very important to me. Without my family I wouldn't be who I am today and that is a wonderful , kind , trustworthy , and skillful young man.

My family raised me to be a very nice person. Of course I don't start no trouble that's not in my nature. Me being nice is just in me like two eye balls their just in me. For example, if someone ask me for a dollar I will be more than happy to give it to him/her. That's just one reason why my family history made me who I am today.

Another thing is that my family has this cycle that no one in my family went to college. So that really motivates me even more to break that cycle. Everyone in my family is looking forward for me going to college and become successfull.They tell me that it isn't easy out there in the world and I believe them because I observe my parents. Yes, that's why I try to push myself to make terrific grades and win bundles of awards in school.

Afterwards , my family's history is not all bad because my mom and dad turned out good but still struggle and I don't want them to go through that and so do I. But , now that I have a greater opportunity than what they did. Now that there's so many ways to get into college there's no excuse. Back then they didn't have as many open doors as we do today, so therefore I got I easy.

In conclusion, my family history influenced me a lot. They still tell me to this day make something out of yourself. There's a real world out there and it's not easy so yes I would like to attend your college and become that somebody. Five years from now I can see myself graduating from your college and becoming the CEO of a computer company. So I ask you "where do you see yourself five years from now?"
