Before my daughter was born my perception of my marriage was that I had a strong one. My husband was a fiberobtic driller and he would travel to the east coast and work weeks at a time. When I would call his cell phone he would answer and talk so I did not think anything was wrong. But the reality was he had another life on the east coast with another woman. He was in love with two women and had two very different lives.

I thought he would work, return to the hotel, clean up, get dinner and maybe have a couple of drinks. I assumed he was doing the same things as I was, working and relaxing. When he would go out he told me what he was doing and where he was going. Normally he would go out to the local bar have a good time with the other guys that he was working with and after would return to the hotel. He would ask me if I was all right with him going to the nudie bar. I would trust that he was telling me the truth so I had nothing to worry about. He also said that there was times that he would play pool and lost a great deal of money betting on games. Then he also told me that he was playing darts and that he would lose money on that also. I never doubted that he was gambling on games and losing.

I stayed with him for a week in Virgina and that is were I discovered what was

He was living with a women in Florida and building a life on the east coast with her. He would go to work and after spend his time with her. He built a relationship with her family, would go out and spend money on this other women. So the gambling the money away was a lie since the truth was that the money was going towards this other women. He would tell me when he was living in Virgina that he was relaxing on the balcony of his apartment. But in the background I could hear there was birds singing. Then I realized he was with her in Florida while he was on the phone with me.

There was a big difference in what I thought was going on and what was truly happening because I never thought that someone would do that to me. I thought since he told me what he was doing and that he would answer every time that I would call that he was faithful
