EVALUATION FACTORS

Demonstrated skill configuring Cisco routers and switches in enterprise environments

I have been working in networking field for 4-5 years and continuing expertiseing my networking skills . In the past and current, I been configuration various routers, switches and various firewalls at my current jobs (Department of Tresury / FMS).

Installed and tested various Cisco routers, switches and network intrusion software packages in support of failover testing. Made recommendations on the correct firewall implementation at the worksite as needed. I was instrumental in maintaining and assisting in testing all year 2000 compliance of products and software.

Below are the routers and switches which I have been configuring and monitoring:

Cisco Routers:

* 1700 Series- 1720, 1721

* 2600 Series- 2610, 2611, 2620, 2621, 2651

* 2900 Series- 2912, 2924, 2948, 2950

* 3500 Series- 3524

* 3600 Series- 3610, 3620, 3640, 3660

* 3800 Series- 3825

* 4000 Series- Catalyst 4100, 4124, 4200, 4224, 4500, 4700, 4908, 4912G, 4924

* 7200 Series- Including 7204, 7206

Switches:

* Wiring Closet Switches: Catalyst 2900, 3560,4500, 6500

* Data Center Switches: Blade, Catalyst 4948, Catalyst 6500

* Distribution/Core : Catalyst 4500, Catalyst 6513 with Firewall Service Module Blade.

All the above configuration are make in real production environments or the enterprise environments.

Demonstrated skill setting up Cisco pix 500-series firewalls as VPN servers

I installed and maintained Cisco 500 series PIX firewalls. I do have exprices configurating the various cisco pix firewalls at my current jobs. I also have configuraed the cisco vpn 3030 consentrator for remote users. I was the lead in the project for convering Nortel base vpn and dial-in boxes to the cisco vpn and AS5400 dial-in boxes. Maintained and worked with RSA SecureID servers for authenticating VPN users.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems and communicate verbally and in writing

I have broad and in-depth knowledge and technical expertise in one or more areas ; recognized as a resource in a specialty area, competent to independently resolve complex problems and systems administration/networking issues using advanced principles. Independently research solutions, troubleshoot and resolve complex problems. Supported end user accounts, password resets and troubleshooting of trust relationships on the network. I monitored security related events to ensure 100% uptime without interruptions to servers or network devices. I am required to write documentation of security policy and review of products to ensure compliancy with Federal and State regulations to include HIPAA compliance. At last I have been attainging board meeting and expling the board member of any networking related issue or updates.

Ability to manage enterprise data-center operations

* I work with our enterprise data center manager to create and maintain enterprise data center standards for critical facilities issues (power, climate, physical security, data center layout and fire suppression).

* Effectively communicates policies to Enterprise Data Center Operations team.

*Work closely with the systems management, network management and performance monitoring teams ensure monitoring software is configured and functioning properly.
