History
Recently I have been researching the history of the country New Zealand and found some interesting things. Apparently there was a war back in the 1900's between two tribes, Te Roroa and Pukerangiora. They fought with muskets, hence the name "Musket War." The tribe Te Roroa originated in the north island, and then came along the southern island tribe Pukerangiora. There were a series of battles ranging from 1903-1946. Pukerangiora tried to take over the north island, but Te Roroa would not have that. Te Roroa won the first battle, making Pukerangiora retreat back to the south island.
Everything remained calm for about three years, and then Te Roroa started making their way down to the south island, killing and eating stray natives. They tried to cross to the south island, but their boats were poorly made and sank on the journey. Everyone drowned. Now, with only the few people that stayed behind Te Roroa stayed put for a while and became allies with the Kawhia tribe. Pukerangiora never knew about the attempt by Te Roroa trying to cross to the south island.
I am informing you of this because I think it is important and should be taken into consideration. We both do not want history to repeat itself, but you never know. A precaution is to keep these two tribes away from each other and keep them isolated on their islands. It isn't likely for the tension between them to flare up again, but better safe then sorry. They are both known for fighting and now in the world that we currently live in; they probably have improved their artillery and possibly devised a plan. I know it is easier said than done keeping the two on their own islands, but we must try to keep us and others safe from this madness. We mustn't over look the possibilities of the two tribes.
