INTRODUCTION:
Par Inc is the one of big golf equipment manufacturing company. They already have a chain of gulf equipments. But now company wants to introduce new cut resistance golf balls. They want to kind of balls which will be long lasting. For that they make experiments to make it. And after that they make experiments on its performance. They did samples of shouts with new and old golf ball. And try to measure their driving distance. From that they can find out how affective it is. So it is worth or not to produce it.
The procedure used to conduct a hypothesis test about a population proportion is similar to the procedure used to conduct a hypotheses test about a population mean.
Here new golf ball’s driving mean driving distance is 267.5 yards instead of old one 270.275 yards. And variance is spread in old is 76.61474359yards and 97.94871785 yards in new one. That shows the variation in the research. In the one tail test t is 0.093991211yards which is less then 1.328361594. So H0 is rejected. But in two tail experiment t is greater. So this experiment is accepted.
