Essay Preview: People 30 to 65 Years of Age Are Part of Middle Adulthood
People 30 to 65 years of age are part of middle adulthood are going through various changes that will severely affect their way of living. This is the time when mostly everyone in this age group begin to typically think of this period as being very stressful and the most unpleasant they have encountered in all of their life time, if you ask the ones who are actually living this live right now, I am sure you will receive a different answer.
Women will experience menopause which is one of the great physical changes. The female body will adjust to a decrease of estrogen and then comes the hot flashes. Men experience midlife crises during middle adulthood, in which their personalities seem to take a quick drastic change and they will return to earlier times in their lives.
Children will leave home and parents find it kind of difficult adjusting to life without their children, while other adults will begin to enjoy their new freedoms that come with middle age. Parents will re-evaluate their lives, men are no more. This is often a period of new adventures, hobbies, and sometimes volunteers in their communities. I read that the "aging process does not bring about a midlife crisis. Those things that may bring about a "midlife crisis" are drastic and sudden life-altering events such as the death of a loved one or the loss of employment".
