Personal Goals that I want to achieve as a University of Phoenix Student
Before I even begin the first process of talking to an admission counselor, I have been asking myself, what is it really that I want out of my life? This question leads me back to where I started many years ago when I first explored this question. I am in my thirties now, yet I still feel like the same eighteen year old college student who is trying to figure out what path to take to success? I believe the University of Phoenix is the right path which will lead me to achieve my personal goals. Suceed in owning my own broker firm, make more money in my current job, and personal growth are goals that I would like to achieve as a student. Before choosing these goals, my very first goal was deciding what program I waned to be in. After I decided what program I was interested in, I took the first step towards reaching my goals, and I got in touch with an advising counselor at UOP. What a small step on my part, but a gigantic leap towards my goals.
The biggest part of my decision to going back to being a student again is my desire to own my own broker firm someday. I plan on getting my U.S. Custom broker license and work for a firm for a while. Once I established a good client base, I would like to have my own firm. For me to be successful in maintaining a firm, I have to have the education in the Business Management field. I really enjoy what I am doing. Before I started in the importing business , I never thought it would be something I would enjoy. I didn't even know what it entails. I just needed a job and the job needed to be filled. But, as I got to learn the job, I found we were a perfect match. It is funny how things work sometimes. One day, I was looking online for custom brokers and came upon some very interesting information. I decided to dig deeper into salaries, job security, and benefits and found that they don't do much more than what I am doing, except they are license by the United States Government. I decided then to pursue being a Custom broker.
Another goal I would like to achieve as a student is to finish my degree so that I can make more money
