B. Resiliency

People can bounce back from risks, stress, crises, and trauma. Your ability to bounce back from your life's problems with more power and more smarts is what makes you resilient. Researchers are concluding that each person has an innate capacity for resiliency, "a self-righting tendency" that operates best when people have resiliency-building conditions in their lives.

C. Anorexia

Anorexia is a preoccupation with food and a refusal to maintain minimal normal body weight. People with anorexia nervosa continue to think they look fat even when they are bone-thin. New research findings are showing that some of the "traits" in individuals who develop anorexia nervosa are actual "risk factors" that might be treated early on. For example, low self esteem, body dissatisfaction, and dieting may be identified and interventions instituted before an eating disorder develops.

D. Patience

To increase my level of patience I need to:

Take life one day at a time and consider each day a gift of life that will allow me to get one step closer to my goals of growth and change. I need to accept the reality that I am going to need time, effort, and energy to change and grow. I should not dwell on my past mistakes and worry about what I will become or how I will act in the future.

E. Relationships that have changed:

I would have to say my relationship with my parents is the one that has changed the most within the last year. We have developed a more honest and trusting relationship this year. I have learned through their guidance that I am the only one that can be held accountable for my actions and reactions to the situations that life my have in store for me. I value their opinion and ask for it more often now that I understand they only want what is best
