Personal Perspective Paper

In the assessment, I will attempt to share some views on personal perspectives. I will cover topics such as rEsource, learning teams, and problem-based learning. These views basically come from my past experience in the undergraduate program at the University of Phoenix and readings. Also, I will share how valuable these items are to my learning experience.

The Value of rEsource

Using the rEsource section of the student website is a valuable tool to learning. The rEsource contains items like the online library, the Center for Writing Excellence, and the course map for the current class that the student is taking. The online library is a priceless tool that includes 3 major databases and plenty of other specialty databases for research. The online library also features a section where it offers assistance of an online Librarian. Using the Center for Writing Excellence is a good tool for improving assessments in class. "Good writing skills are critical to both your academic success at the University of Phoenix and to your professional success. Upon graduating from the University of Phoenix, individuals who possess excellent written communication skills will undoubtedly have the upper hand in most professional work environments."(https://mycampus.phoenix.edu/secure/uopcwe/Content/Home.h) Finally, the course map on the rEsource provide on organized approach on how the class will be directed. These features are also valuable to the learning teams to reach there team goal.

The Value of Learning Teams

A team is a collection of individuals who exist within a larger social system such as an organization. Learning teams are usually thought of as groups with a shared commitment and/or goal. Most Learning teams are formed for the following reasons:

1. Create collaborative learning environments in which working adults can share the practical knowledge that comes from their life and work experience.

2. Improve the quality of shared projects and assignments.

3. Serve as vehicles for the kind of shared reflection through which adult students make sense of and apply new knowledge.

4. Provide a sense of community and support that is invaluable in helping working adults cope with the challenge
