Art105

Final Assessment

* Were the course objectives met?

* Was the course structured in an easy to follow sequence?

* Did the projects facilitate an increased appreciation for art?

* In what way could the course be improved

1.Yes the course objections were met because the objective was to understand art and what was art. I learned that art is something that is both functional and (hopefully) aesthetically pleasing to our eyes.

2. The course had an easy to follow sequence because modules were for each chapter that needed to read to answer the discussion question, to be able to read participate in a journal entry of what you learned from the chapters in each module and to quiz you on readings from the chapter.

3. The course did give a greater appreciation for art because I learned about so many artists, styles of artwork. I learned about what artist use create their work of art. For example some artist like to use water color, oil painting, pastel, charcoal, wood engravings. For instance a favorite artist of mine Dali Salvador was known as a surrealist his drawings and painting came by images that he say in his head people say hallucinations.

4. I think for the Assignment available the teacher should use samples of old artwork to give students and idea. Her assignments were vague. Also answering emails in a timely matter just interacts with the students. Asking the students if they have any questions about the assignment not them always having to ask questions.
