In the military I got to travel quite a bit also. I lived on the southern coast of Spain for a couple of years. After that I traveled to several different countries. Most of them bordered the Mediterranean Sea and the Persian Gulf. While abroad, I studied in some of the satellite campuses for other universities. I don't think people fully understand how challenging it is to attend, teach or participate in study abroad programs.
After the military I moved to my current residence and put formal education on the shelf for a bit. I was involved in computers and landed a job at University in . I started collecting career certifications instead of degrees. I have more letters after my name then are in the in the alphabet. I don't quite understand what they all mean but it looks good on a resume. After my seven year stint at a University I worked for a very large computer networking manufacturer as a pre-sales design engineer. I then went to work for the Stock Exchange as a network engineer. After that I am now working as a systems engineer at a network security company called .
As I stated earlier, I am very happily married to my high school sweetheart and we have two boys. The oldest is 5 years old named and the youngest is right under two named We've built a happy healthy little life nestled between Atlantic City and Philadelphia. I studied martial arts for many years but they seemed to have been replaced with soccer practice and Dora the Explorer.
I have to admit I'm a bit gun-shy about on-line courses. I tried one at a local community college and it was the worst college experience I will ever endure. It seems that this is a bit different with more involvement in day-to-day student activities. I look forward to see how everything progresses
