Photosynthesis is a biological process on earth by which plants, some bacteria and some algae use the energy from sunlight to produce sugar. Photosynthesis is a technique for converting sunlight into energy that has been utilized by certain organisms. The basic process involves a conversion of carbon dioxide and water into glucose and oxygen, aided by light-dependent reactions. These organisms use sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide and produce energy-rich sugars and oxygen. It takes place on the chloroplast. During the light reaction pigments are absorb. It also converts sun light to chemical to produce carbohydrates to produce energy and released oxygen.

It is so important to the world because is the most important tool to the atmosphere and to us humans. Therefore is the source of live because it the way to produce food for plants, animals and humans. When photosynthesis occurs it produces sugar that is use as energy and plants get it so by doing this they released oxygen. So we humans use the oxygen to breath and continued living. With the energy that is produce we can do all the things we have to do because we consume carbohydrates and other type of energy. If there are no plants in this world, no other living organisms can survive. However all the living organisms depend on plants directly or indirectly for their lives. Therefore is also important because is part of cellular respiration so that why oxygen is so important in photosynthesis. It is the main key to survive in the ecosystem and part of our cycle life.
