PHSE
Like me, you will probably have been brought up before the days of these petty subjects such as PHSE. Now let me ask you if we, as society, are more tolerant and respectful as a result of these subjects? Just yesterday we all heard of the horrific attack on an elderly man as he walked to get his paper. Since 1999, the year PHSE was made compulsory, aggravated assault cases have risen by an astonishing 1098%! I am not saying that PHSE causes the problems but I am saying that the time wasted doing PHSE could be better spent in a normal classroom environment where discipline will be enforced on the demonic youth of today. If anybody in power had half a brain cell then I am sure something would have been done about this monumental waste of time, resources, and tax payers’ money. We are constantly told that today’s youths are unstimulated, underachieving and uneducated. But it’s not their fault! It’s those Idiots in charge’s fault!
24 lessons a year could be better used teaching leadership skills in a military style way. For example; the students who are continually misbehaving in the week would have to do menial jobs while the star students learn leadership skills. This would make the students realise that the harder you work the better you do in life. Of course students with behavioural problems would not be treated as harshly but it would still give them a taste of the real world. And by doing this I believe that these savage attacks that are now so common they are often ignored by the media would be eradicated from this cruel society which we live in. It would actually be a better thing to see an attack on the front page of the newspapers as that would mean that these attacks are no longer filed away with the rest and hidden from public view.
Therefore I ask you this, why are we paying these uneducated people to brainwash our children into believing war is bad under every circumstance? It clearly isn’t working! We need to make our opinion known or we are going to live in a world where Greenpeace are in number ten and where talking about going to the petrol station is a taboo. The problem cannot be ignored, it cannot be allowed, and it defiantly cannot be our future!
