I am a Jamaican a Jamaican,
Proud to be apart of this island
I am a Jamaican a Jamaican
Proud to be a part of this nation
We are black and we are proud
Our ancestors fought till they were sore
Look at our heroes Nanny and Marcus
They are true Jamaican we should not ignore
One Love, One Heart
Bob Marley would say
I have a dream
Luther King would pray
They are all Jamaicans who made their name
Families are crying because the slaves are dying,
Having to work into this gruesome place
Showing no fear is what we Jamaicans embrace
Look at us now we are independent
Because our ancestor fought long and hard so that we could remember there grace
Precipitation reactions is the reaction of soluble antigens with IgG or IgM antibodies to form large, interlocking molecular aggregates called lattices. Precipitation reactions occur in two distinct stages. First, the antigens and antibodies rapidly form small antigen- antibody complexes. Precipitation reactions normally occur only when the ratio of antigen to antibody is optimal. The optimal ratio is produced when separate solutions of antigen and antibody are placed adjacent to each other and allowed to diffuse together. In a precipitin ring test, a cloudy line of precipitation (ring) appears in the area in which the optimal ratio has been reached
(The zone of equivalence).Immunodiffusion tests are precipitation reactions carried out in an agar gel medium, on either a Petri plate or a microscope slide. A line of visible precipitate develops between the wells at the point where the optimal antigen-antibody ratio is reached.
The electrophoresis is used to speed up the movement of antigen and antibody in a gel.The technique of immune-diffusion and electrophoresis can be combined in a procedure called immune-electrophoresis. The procedure is used
