Process:
The steps I took to solve this problem. At first I didn't really get the problem and what really helped me understand the problem is when Mrs. Martin gave the class a hint and when she reread the problem. At first I tried all of the combinations I could think of. I didn't care how long it took I just tried to see if I could find the problem that I thought was right. After I did that I didn't believe in myself so I kept asking my teacher. When I would ask her she would not tell me the answer but she would give me tips and I think that helped me out a lot. Well doing this problem I didn't find any thing that I thought was a waste of time. But what helped me and made it easier was writing down all of the possible answers I could find.
Solution
A= 1 min. to cross the bridge
B= 2 min. to cross the bridge
C= 5 min. to cross the bridge
D= 10 min. to cross the bridge
I think I have found the right answer because I wrote down all of the possible combinations I could think of and 17 minuets was the fastest one I could find. I don't know that I have found all of the combinations that there is but I found all of them I could think of.
Evaluation:
1) It was worth while because it mad us use are brains a little more and by doing this it helps use excel in math class.
2) I would not change the problem because it made us work but no to much that I was stressed out.
3) I enjoyed working on this because it was a little different then doing regular home work and I need a change every once and awhile.
4) It was just right because it made us work but no so hard that it would frustrate you to do it.
Self Assessment:
On this POW I would give myself a A-B. Because on this pow I really tried
