Pride and Prejuce.

Pride and Prejudice was written by Jane Austen a famous England writer. In my opinion, this book has reflected the reality of society, and the real life or even the inner world of human beings. To go a step further, Jane also shows her views on love and marriage.

The story happened in the 18th century in Britain. Five sisters of the Bennet family were growing up healthily under the instruction that any bachelor is looking for a beautiful woman to marry. There are four sisters Jane, Kitty, Mary, and Lydia and they agree with their mother's statement. They wanted and absolutely sought out their sweethearts of equal status. However, one of the sisters, Elizabeth, who was wise, hoped she could live for her own.

During the journey of searching for love, each of the sisters had their own experiences, example: the marriage of Lydia and Collin. They lived a comfortable material life, but there was no existence of love between them. Maybe such marriage is a tragedy in society.

On the other hand, it has also showed true love. Darcy, who was born into a rich family, fell in love with Elizabeth. However, they had different backgrounds. In order to purse true love, Darcy proposed to her regardless of their family statuses and wealth gap, but his proposal was refused. Elizabeth's misunderstanding and prejudice on him was a main reason, but the most important thing was that she hated his arrogance.

Maybe the arrogance was actually a reflection of the difference in status. And because of this he and Elizabeth would be impossible to get married. However, after Elizabeth really knew about Darcy, especially saw the changes of his prejudice and becoming a person who was polite, she accepted this marriage and lived a happy life.

We can say that the love between Elizabeth and Darcy showed the author's point what really matters in marriage is true love. Maybe the only real fault is when one who takes money rather than love.
