Problem we want to solve:
There is no existing application that can provide a personalized mobile travel management service. While preparing a travel plan, one can get easily overwhelmed by the information about all kinds of tourist attractions. It takes a lot of time and effort with a general search engine to zero-in on suitable tourist destinations. Moreover, after the tourist gets the information, there is no existing convenient way he/she can save and retrieve the information at a later time and make a travel schedule.
Background Research
In recent years, mobile applications are frequently used by people when they prepare their travel plans. Websites like Yelp and tripadvisor can provide the information of services based on people's location. And it can also navigate people to their destination. Other mobile applications can provide detailed information about tourist attractions, like Qiongyoujinnang (China). Also some applications like tripit can help user to store the information they typed in. However, the recommendation function usually only considers limited factors--location or scores. Moreover, the existing applications haven't integrated all the functions users need into one application.
