Protecting Polar Bears
Polar bears are amazing species which should be saved from extinction. The problem that polar bears face global warming, climate change and shipping work. Global warming is caused by humans (us) as we are using too much resources which we don’t need. This makes me depressed as polar bears gave been around for a long time. Global warming doesn’t only effect polar bears but affects other Antarctic animals which we love to see in zoos.
The main problem is caused humans (us) as we are responsible for horrendous pollution. This problem not only kills animals but kills us. Each and everyday people are breathing in pollution which causes people to have lung cancer, asthma and other diseases. Polar bears have dropped from 32,000 to 20,000 which is a huge decrease and by the looks of it in 3 years polar bears will become extinct animals.
The second problem is ship working. Ship working are used every day to give us humans resources from the ocean. Even though this benefits us each day ship pasts by ships reduce ice layers. This basically means it destroys polar bears home.
To solve these two issues, we could stop using too much resources as this causes pollution and ship working. As a community, we could stop this by changing cars into electronic cars which won’t cause as much pollution or we could decrease the limit of cars in each country. The only downside of this is that the pollution economy rate will decrease this will make many people jobless.
As a conclusion, it is up to us as a society to save polar bears. Imagine in 3 years’ time without polar bears, your poor sobbing child won’t be able to see them. If you don’t want your children sobbing like babies, we must act now.
