Sharks are very interesting animals. There are over 370 species of sharks. Sharks are on the top of the food chain. They're the alto met water predator. The shark only has one bone in its body, there teeth. The rest is made out of cartilage. The sharks swallow there food whole. They can be both nocturnal and diurnal. The shark in the egg is called the embryo. It keeps growing until the tip of the sharks mouth breaks through the shell. They're teeth are razor sharp. They are constantly growing because when they eat they rip and tare there food. Sharks are becoming extinct. People put nets up to trap sharks and other animals from going into the beaches. A lot of sharks die from this. If you help a shark the best place to release them when there better is in murky water. This way other sharks and animals don't eat them and they have a chance to live. Wabi Gomes, a type of shark, has camouflage. They look like the bottom of the ocean. They're flat and brown. People call them "The flying carpet sharks." Russo 6
