Raytheon Company, founded in 1922, is a leading company specializing in defense, civil government and cybersecurity solutions. (Raytheon.com-our company) Raytheon company focuses on core manufacturing concentrations in weapons, military and commercial electronics. It is the world’s largest producer of guided missiles. Moreover, Raytheon company is a major American defense contractor. More than 90% of revenue were obtained from military contracts. (Raytheon.com-our company) As of 2012, it was the fifth-largest military contractor in the world.
For specific business, Raytheon is in four businesses—Integrated Defense Systems, Intelligence, Information and Services, Missile Systems and Space and Airborne Systems. For Integrated Defense Systems, it specializes in air and missile defense, radars, systems for managing command and control, sonars, torpedoes and electronic systems for ships. For Intelligence, Information and Services, it provides cybersecurity products and services. Missile Systems provides offensive and defensive weapons for air, land, sea and space.
