Christian Lacroix presented his first collection in 1987, at the age of 40 years. It was a symphony of blazing colors and daring forms. He was a former art history student who preferred luxurious materials such as silk and velvet. Fascinated with the theater and opera, he creates splendid costumes. With him, clothes are ornaments.

Entering into fashion in 1976, Jean-Paul Gaultier is not afraid to shock. He has a reason: he is eccentric but he has talent. He therefores risks, daring all. The stars of show business (for example, Madonna) and the anticonformists carry his models. His models are funny, his collections are always original. He plays with the materials and with ideas: he invented the electronic jewelry, he imposed the skirt for men, and he created the collection ! His imagination has no limits.

Chanel: The modernism and the class.

Born in 1939 in Germany, Karl Lagerfeld symbolizes paradoxically the French elegance. He is Mr. Chanel. With his ponytail and his big sunglasses, he has an impression of a snob. He is all simply very individualist. His models are in the tradition begun by Coco Chanel: suits in tweed, small chic dresses, skirts in movement. The style is in the simplicity of the forms and in the work of the detail.
