PREFACE

As a part of my BBA curriculum and in order to gain practical knowledge about how an organization works, I decided to join and work in field of Security Market and find opportunity in RAGHUNANDAN MONEY to learn and assist them in their daily activities. The main objective of this subject BBC501 was to provide a real life exposure to me.

The topic on which I have prepared the report is “Equity, Derivatives and related Instruments”.

In this Project Report, I have included all my learning which I gone through the training tenure with some real life examples. I am thankful to the whole team of Raghunandan Money for being helpful and co-operative in my practical training period.

OPERATIONS OF A STOCK BROKER

A stock Broker acts as a middleman among the various Traders and Investors in the market i.e. Stock Market. Likewise while you search and buy a house, there is a middle party who come and make relationship between both buyer and seller.

A stock broking firm on a general basis perform following activities:
