Gaddafi also criticizes USA foreign policies which allows it undermine other countries sovereignty so they can trade freely, imposing their political system. The Libyan state political system does not give its citizens freedom of expression according to the one opposing it which leads to the USA see a gap to impose their system using democracy as a tool but not necessarily for a good cause. So the Libyan state social system only allows only the state to have a say about the running of the state itself, censorship and other political decisions making for the people which may also be seen by some countries as dictatorship, Especially USA and its allies. Libya has got strong support from certain countries mostly with Arab nations, Africa, Middle East, Asia and also in Europe which are interested in creating a relationship which does not interfere with its political system. Most of these countries are third world countries which do not have much of power to overturn USA's decisions but can have an impact in the economy internationally or in the region. The USA uses its powers as one of the super powers in the NATO and makes decisions for the NATO to act on its behalf to overthrow the Libyan Gaddafi government. Using media to produce stories that will favour their mission. Libya's as a socialist state poses a threat globally because other countries cannot trade freely and they see the need for liberalism as the key to open doors. Non-state actors who are the ones that run most of the global economy feel threatened by socialism since Libya is one of the biggest oil producers in the world and trades in its own terms.
