Early Morning -The twins bring Bayardo San Roman to their home the day after they failed to give back the music box, given to her Angela at the bazaar

February 7, 1954 Day of Wedding

6:00pm Formal wedding festivities end, guests of honour leave

February 8, 1954 Day of Santiago’s death

0:00am -Vicario twins drink and sing with Santiago Nasar, Cristo, Luis, etc.

2:00am -Vicario Twins leave Cervantes’s brothel

3:00am -Pura Vicario summons her twins home

-Twins return home and hear of Angela’s story

-Pedro makes the decision for them to kill Santiago

-Vicario brothers go to the pigsty to pick out knives

3:20am -Vicario twins pass by Prudencia Cotes’ house to drink some coffee and get some newspapers

-Vicario twins go to Faustino Santos’s place to sharpen their knives and tells the incoming people of their plan

4:10am -Vicario brothers go to Clotilde Armenta’s shop to wait for Santiago

-Clotilde is notified by the twins of their plan

-Clotilde tells officer Leandro the twins’ plan

4:20am -Luis Enrique meets the Vicario twins in Clotilde’s store

-Clotilde sends a milk beggar to send a warning to Santiago of the twins’ plans

5:00am -Colonel Aponte takes away the twins’ knives

-Vicario twins drink liquor given to them by Clotilde

-Pedro Vicario asks to borrow Clotilde’s husband’s shaving equipment

-Pedro Vicario thinks that they should not pull through with the plan, but Pablo convinces him

-Pablo Vicario goes back to the pigsty to get two new knives

6:06am -Once Santiago leaves his house, the twins wake up from sleeping on the bench

-Clotilde persuades the twins to delay
