Impetigo and Scoliosis

Impetigo
Impetigo is an infection of the skin. It is causes when the skin is broken. The impetigo infection can occur any time the skin is broken. Impetigo has a major tendency to spread to other areas of the body where the skin has been broken. If one is infected with impetigo it is suggested that the part of the body with the infection is isolated and clean regularly. Impetigo is most abundant in children who live in unhealthy conditions. Impetigo is most abundant on young children that scratch preexisting wounds. It also has been seen in adults proceeding a virus such as an upper respiratory infection. Poison ivy also has a slight tendency to turn into impetigo.
Impetigo occurs mostly in a humid environment. It is also the third largest skin disease among children between the ages of 2 and 10. It is suggested that the person infected with impetigo make little to no contact with other people until they have been taking antibiotics for twenty four hours because it spreads rapidly. One should never share personal hygiene items with a person infected with impetigo. When cleaning ones infected area, a clean clothe should be used each time.
Impetigo is not something to play around with. If you think you have impetigo you need to go the doctor's office as soon as possible. If it gets bad enough it can cause kidney failure. This would have to be a severe case, but it could happen and you would not want that to happen to you. It would be severely painful. Impetigo is not something to play around with. It is rare but if it gets too severe it can cause death. Impetigo caused twenty five deaths in England in 2003.
Scoliosis
Scoliosis is when ones spine has an irregular curve to it. There is no distinctive cause of scoliosis. There are no severe side effects. The main side effects are as follows: pain in lower back after sitting or standing for an extended period of time, sitting in one position for too long, uneven hips, and obviously a curve in the spine.
