Searching for a Happier Life

Before learning Access to Positive Psychology, I had learnt something about it on the Internet and generated a lot of interest. As a class that is larger than Introduction to Economics in Harvard University, it is well-known by large quantities of students' supporters. I used to be puzzled about why it was so popular. But now I understand.
Tal Ben-Shahal said, "Positive psychology, studying it, applying the ideas to my life has made me significantly happier. It continues to make me happier." Indeed, the aim of this course is to help learners to search for a positive and happy life. After taking the whole courses, it have had a huge impact on me and made me changed a lot in many aspects of my daily life.
In order to live a happier life, always maintaining positive emotions is very important. I didn't have a complete and carefree childhood because of the divorce between my father and mother, which used to make me live in the shadow. Facing with failures, I was usually negative. And it seemed like I was in a vicious circle (Narrow & Strict), sadness and depression made me passive towards failures. 2000 years ago, Aristotle said, "Happiness is the meaning and purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence." And 200 years ago William James said, "If we were to ask the question what is human life's chief concern, one of the answers we should receive would be it is happiness." Through studying this course, I know the importance of happiness. Once I was unhappy with negative emotions in my early life, I will try to live with positive emotions in the future so that I can transform myself into a virtuous circle.
Facing life with optimism makes me approach to a happier life. After entering university I experienced a different life compared to high school. My classmates and I became very busy at the end of term. Recently, I have to accomplish 6 pieces of theses and prepare for CET4 and ILETS Test, a period of one month seems to be limited. I always complain about studying in university is busier than senior three. This kind of thinking obviously makes me feel frustrated and unhappy. People who learn to interpret things more positively actually live longer (Tal), same objective reality, but very different interpretation (Tal) may lead to different processes and results.
