As a Senior, my duties consist of, but are not limited to, gathering intelligence information from a variety of sources and relaying this information to the other field agents and supervisors utilizing Service Form G-392. I perform line-watch duties, city patrol, freight train check, bus station check, airport transportation check, passenger train check and marine unit operations. I investigate, apprehend, and arrest aliens, alien and narcotic smugglers, serve warrants of arrest and create alien files which are presented to Immigration Judges and/or the U.S. Magistrate for prosecutions and deportation proceedings. I determine the validity of immigration documents, identify counterfeit documents and uncover the use of valid documents by imposters. I cancel immigration documents for violations of terms of admission. I am also knowledgeable in all aspects of preparing both administrative and criminal cases for prosecution. I successfully interview subjects and take sworn statements in both the English and Spanish languages. I have interpreted and enforced a wide variety of laws, under the Immigration and Nationality Act and have designated authority through .

As a Journeyman, I was responsible for participating in ongoing close border surveillance and alien interdiction involving . Highly trained in surveillance and interrogation methods, anti-smuggling search and seizure, forgery detection, criminal record checks and processing of aliens.
