Do you know what a social media is or own of the Apps? If you don’t then you must be living under a rock. Out of the many Social Media platforms that’s out there, Instagram and Facebook have some differences like ways of sharing pictures, Messaging and gaining new followers. Both social networking sites are powerful and have a lot of opportunities to engage with other people
Even though Instagram is relatively new, it is an online sharing and social networking service that enables you to take pictures, apply digital filters to it and share them.There are seven distinct ways of sharing pictures on Instagram; First tap the app from your phone, take a screenshot of the picture or post, press the camera button in the center, post the picture in the centre of the crop box, add desired effects, share the picture. Instagram also allows you to follows people, go through their page, like and comment on pictures and also share it. Most Instagram users come from younger users; majority are under 30 years of age. Ways of following new members differs because some accounts are set on private. In order to do that, you have to login into your Instagram account, tap the “view all” next to “suggestions for you” , and click follow. Although Facebook is the world's most popular social networking website that brings old high school friends and long gone families back together but it’s losing share of teen users. It has helped people become more open and social to the web. Facebook gives you the option of sharing your pictures publicly and make it visible to the people who aren't on your friends list and also enables you to post it privately to whomever you want to. on the other hand, Facebook doesn’t have any pictured touch features added to it unless you have a professional camera and an already photoshopped picture ready to be posted.
When it comes to social media marketing, Facebook is the big guy on the campus. It has the largest user base and has withstood the test of time. Statistically, almost 655 million monthly active users are on mobile. Facebook has cemented itself as a staple in the Social Media marketing world. While messaging Facebook, It notifies you when the person read your message and also when your message has been sent or delivered. To Message someone on Facebook, click at the right of the screen, click new messages, search the individual’s name whom you wish to message, start typing your message content, click send. If the person decides to read and log out without responding back, Facebook also notifies you by saying the person was online 25 mins ago or so. Ironically, this has happened to me before. One lovely Saturday evening, i was on Facebook messaging one of my group members regarding the group work that’s due three weeks in advance ; i spent thirty minutes to an hour trying to compose the message together before i send it and when i finally did send it he read it and didn't respond .I thought maybe he was busy with his part of the group project and came to a realization that he was ignoring me and didn't want to be bothered because Facebook notified me that he read it, couple of seconds later he was on his page posting pictures of his food. But on Instagram that doesn’t exist. Instagram doesn’t notify you or tells you when the person logged
