"Spring in Puerto Rico"

The exquisite nature of the land displayed in Pedro Villarini's "Spring in Puerto Rico" reminds me of the vacation my family took to Utah. Although the temperature in Puerto Rico may have been different then last fall's temperatures in Utah, the scenery has the same appeal. When I went to Utah, I brought my camera with me and snapped about three hundred digital memories. That is one thing I always bring with me, my camera. I bought it in the summer of 2005 and it has been my best friend ever since. My camera has toured Alaska, Utah, and the coast of Eastern America in my pocket and captured many images that I will now never forget.

When I went to Utah last year, it was going to be all about the skiing. But when I got there, the skiing was not the only thing on my mind, my thoughts were now being shared with the fantasizing landscape. The lush green valleys and snow-capped Rocky Mountains filled my panoramic eyesight for miles and miles. The white horse dancing on the open field in Villarini's masterpiece reminds me of the countless houses that would prance freely on the immense ranches of Utah.

During our trop to Alaska, all of the leaves were turning he same color Pedro Villarini uses to display the change in seasons in his "Spring in Puerto Rico." One day on out trip in Alaska, our family went on a one day cruse on the coastal waters. Personally, I was looking forward to this day because I have a healthy fascination with underwater sea life. I collect models of dolphins, whales, turtles, and many more creatures from the sea. The most obvious sign of my obsession is my room. On the walls of my bedroom there is a mural that pays respect to all animals that reside underwater. So, I was very excited for this exhibition and really hoping to see whales, dolphins or any kind of sea creature. Surprisingly, the part of the trip that I remember the most is looking at the gracious mountainside with all of the trees changing color from a forest green to a ruby red.
