Starbucks is a leading retailer with more then twenty thousand customers worldwide and over millions of customers in a day who are experiencing the Starbucks coffee, beverages, Ice cream and more then that the comfort of literature, reading, surfing internet, chatting, listening music or meeting with peoples as well a place to relax other then home.
Starbucks is very much concerned and focused about its quality of coffee and during procurement process the coffee has to go through different stages before starbucks accepts it. Starbucks has done extensive research in roasting and blending coffee and come up with proprietary software which is maintaining the standards at starbucks.
In order to maintain the customer value, satisfaction and loyalty, starbucks train and educate its baristas to offer services to customer's satisfaction in maintaining their taste with appropriate desert or meal.
Starbucks is partnered with number of leaders in their field which help starbucks to increase its participation in the coffee market. These reputed companies include United Airlines, Nordstrom, Barnes & Noble, Pepsi Co, PriceCostco, Red Hook Breweries, Dreyers' Ice Cream and many more. At the same time starbucks has been serving customers with ground or whole bean coffee who are living at a distance through its mail order service called Encore.
Starbucks has a flat organizational structure. The senior management is easily approachable .Starbucks care and values its staff and treats them like partners and offers them higher wage and benefits like health and life insurance, disability and stock options. Also offer them a free pound of coffee each week.
Starbucks believe that the heart of its continued success lies between two cornerstones, the coffee and its people. Starbucks has differentiated itself from its competitors and is well positioned which has made a very high customer perceived value for starbucks when it comes to comparison.
Starbucks prefer to partner with leading companies in their field who can maintain the starbucks strategy as well as the quality and standards in order to have happy customers.
