The first step I would take to solve this problem would be creating corporate global code of conduct. I would make sure that the code goes into considerable details which would cover the following areas: relationships with employees, different business practices, competitive conduct, observance of local and international laws, business ethics and relationships with the public officials. The following code of conduct will aspire employees to adopt and follow to moral and legal practices of the country they are working in. The scenario is taking place in Bernalia, where the circumcision is considered to be legal and morally accepted, the U.S. chief doctor, with the respect to the legal and moral rights of his home country, we have to take specific guidelines in consideration.

Thus, if there is a huge gap between ethical values of the home country and the host country, I would suggest to suspend particular activities in host country. Each country has freedom to have its own standards, but it doesnÐŽ¦t mean that international firms should do business in that country.

And finally, in order to avoid further misunderstandings, our corporation should be constantly aware of the impacts on local as well as foreign societies that our corporation has. The most common way to accomplish this is to enforce ethical impact statements. Based on the information provided in these statements, our corporation would have the ability to change or just modify business practices in much correct, ethical direction.

The current problem may directly affect my trust as a manager and relationship with the rest of the hospital staff. For the resolution of this issue, I would conduct a seminar with the employees in order to help them understand that it is very important to follow code of ethics of the corporation.
