Gun control is a hot button issue, especially with the increasing of latest, terrible gun shootings happened. The article “It’s time to ban guns. Yes, all of them” discussed two arguments that support the pro-gun to show that all the guns need to banned; The article “Battleground America” used several examples of guns shootings and mostly her experiences to prove that the different between past and now especially the weapon power and the important that the gun laws need to be changed; the last article “4 Pro-guns arguments that we’re sick of hearing” detailed 4 arguments of the pro-gun and contradict them to argue that the government always use these useless arguments to misguide citizens. Even though these three articles argue in three different aspects, they all showed us that a strict regulation or even the outright ban of all the fire weapons is necessary.

        To make gun controls which means all kinds of guns needed to be banned possible, all the citizens need to speak their minds. As an international student, I read so much gun control articles and some of them even detailed what should we do, however, the gun control that in America is still rest entering instead of putting it in the real world. People blindly believe the Second Amendment but they can’t even give us a reason, contrary, the First Amendment tell us that we can repealed it. I think the citizen need to think rationally instead of blindly believing laws which is even out of date. What’s more, some places think that gun culture is a tradition that need to be respected and some even connect it with the racist. In my opinion, these arguments are unreasonable. As the guns on campus is legal in Cincinnati where I’m living, I can clearly feel that Security forces increased. To my surprised is that even though three people killed these several days near the school, most of people are more careful instead of discussing the gun control which means people just accept what the politicians give us. Therefore, I think more people need to express their minds so that

        The second Amendment is out of date because the drastically increased killing power of the firearms and the changing society. Because America is a democratic country, therefore, the Second Amendment allows citizens have guns. However, with the development of the technology especially the thermal weapon which can easily kill several people in such a short time, this laws can’t even protect us but hurt our safety. For example, twenty-three-year-old Seung-Hui Cho, a college senior, shot fifty-seven people in Blacksburg. (LePore, J.2012, April 23). From the article, I can know that America published gun control laws several times, but finally cancel them. This is a sign that people started to know the dangerous of the guns.

The explanation that always used to explain gun shootings form the politicians are weak and useless which can’t stop the gun shooting happen again and again, therefore, we need to find the real reason of gun shooting. For the first argument, I think that if a man desire killing, he can use any weapon such as the cold weapon. However, guns make killers kill more people instead of only one or two as we can see that modern accidents are even all by guns. Therefore, the only thing that we can do is stop a killer to kill more people. I totally disagree with the second argument because people always put their guns in home. I can only think out one reason that a man will bring his gun is for killing which obviously won’t help to stop a tragedy. What’s more, the worse situation is that a kind man kill others instead of the killer because I don’t think everyone will train for shooting. From the killers’ aspect, mental health is a big problem. However, everyone has a dark side just like everyone will make mistakes. A healthy man can also do something that is badly which we can’t predict at all. The last argument which is also a corny which is the Second Amendment. Obviously, I think the Second Amendment won’t help because the shooting accidents is increasing rapidly these years which I can know from the News.
