Summary of Ke Ke Xi Li

The story happened in ke ke xi li ,the last original waste flatland in Qinghai province of China. There the air was thin, there the earth was arid, there people was poor. However, it boasted of rich natural resources, especially for its abundant antelopesЎЄthe precious and rare animal in China. In order to meet the demand of European market,so many illegal businessmen killed antelops that its number dropped dramatically from 1,000,000 to 10,000.

So, to fight against the slaughter, the local government established an armed group consisting of about 10 local young men. But lack of the fund and help from the Central Government, the working condition was extremely hard. For the firm love to hometown, they devoted all their energy and deposit to support the great mission. Therefore a severe combat was unfolding between the wickedness and the justice. Unfortunately, as a result of varied reasons such as weak strength, bad environment, strong opponent, they were defeated. Some of them were killed by the enemy, some of them were swallowed by the quicksand, and some of them died of starvation. The group was dispersed reluctently in spite of their great effort.

At such crucial circumstance, a turning point appeared. A Beijing journalist from the People Daily Newspaper followed the armed group.Having experienced the hardship and witnessed the whole cruel process, he wrote and published a report to the public. It was the first article uncovering the truth which was nevern known to people. The Central Government and the whole nation were strongly shocked. Moved by their heroic behavior and feared the extinction of the antelopes, all our people as well as the government were trying best to give hands to Ke Ke Xi Li.
