And after six days Jesus takes with him Peter, and James, and John, and leads them up into a high mountain by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.

Then Elias with Moses appeared and they were talking with Jesus. The disciples offered to set up tents for them. But there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, this is my beloved Son. And then only Jesus was there. Jesus told them to tell no one. And when they came to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought my son, which who is possessed by a spirit; when they brought the child to Jesus, the spirit caused the child to convulse before Jesus sent it out. Then they passed through the Sea of Galilee and Jesus told them of his death. When they reached Capernaum Jesus asked the disciples what they were arguing over. None of them answered so Jesus said to them Who ever receives such a child in my name, will also receive me, and whoever receives me, will receive him that sent me. The disciples tell Jesus of a man casting out demons in his name, and that they tried to stop him. Jesus tells them not to for anyone not against us is for us. Then Jesus tells the disciples that they should get rid of the part of them that causes sin.
