1. What do you think of the home page? Is it user friendly? What is the initial message it is trying to send? They are trying to convince you into buying their product and make you believe that their product is the freshest.
2. Next go to the specials and promotions page. What do you notice? What offers does woollies have for the shopper? You can win a gift card and you can get a product that is worth 1 piece of fruit and 1 piece of vegetables and chocolate for half price.
3. Have a look at their catalogue, what is on special this week? Would these specials influence your shopping or food choices? Chocolate for half price. I wouldn't go there just to buy chocolate.
4. In the Fresh Food menu, click on Fresh Food People, watch the ad. What is the ad trying to achieve? Is it successful? They sell fresh food and they are friendly with the farmers they buy from.
5. What program does Woolies offer to guarantee your loyalty? The more you shop the more points you get that you can spend on flights.
6. Try their shopping online... how easy is it? Would this be useful to the average busy family? Yes its very easy and doesn't take long.

3. What is baby and toddlers club? Baby and Toddlers club is a site by Coles to help with your baby and they probably made this site so pregnant/recently born mums will find this site when they need help and then if the site works they will be more likely to buy from Coles.
4. Check out the recipes and videos tab on the right. Have a look through the feed your family with Curtis Stone. What is the intention of this? Does it give Coles an edge over Woolies? This is a site to help people find recipes and some people who don't already shop at Coles might be looking for something to cook on the internet and when they find this site not only will they find something nice to cook but they might begin to shop at Coles.
5. What other services does Coles offer? How does it guarantee the shopper's loyalty? They do gift cards, baby and toddlers group, the flower gallery, Coles circle community and all this just to make sure you shop at their shops.
