Did you know that The World Trade Centers had two terrorist attacks on them? Also, that the poverty rate in 2004, was 12.7 percent of the nation? I am here to tell you about the problems of terrorism and poverty, also on how the effect the world.
Do you remember
what I said about The World Trade Centers? Yes it is true they had two attacks on them the first was on February
26, 1993 they tried to use a car bomb to weaken the integrity of one of the main supports and bring it down on its twin. The second attack was on September 11, 2001 which was they flew a plane into the towers and it brought them down. But those are just some of the terrorist attacks others started wars like the gulf war when Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait, he invaded to get more power, more money, and the oil that Kuwait had. Also another act of terrorism was Adolf Hitler and his Concentration camps. All terrorism is, is a person who is on a power trip and thinks he has enough power or people to take over some where or destroy them. I think if we didn't have terrorism we would have some many people die. There would also not be as many deaths and broken families. I chose to talk about this topic, because i thought it was a major problem in the world today.
The second problem I was talking about poverty. The fact I gave you is true the poverty rate was 12.7 percent of the nation. That equals about 37.0 million people. That is only about 1.1 million more people than in 2003. I think that pverty affects the world by making the world a dirtier place, making the streets more crowded than they already are. I chose the subject because it is a big problem in the north-western Missouri area, not including all of America.
If I had the power to fix terrorism I would make a peace treaty and have leaders of all countries sign it and if they broke the treaty they would be blown up or outcasted. If I had the power th fix the problem of poverty I would give each homeless person $500.00 to get clothes, an apartment, and to get a job. If they wanted to change there life they can, and if they don't want to change and be lazy they can stay on the street.
