There are a lot of products categories in the digital camera field, these three manufacturers of Kodak, Sony, and Canon can be regarded as the leader of this trade among them. In this investigation, the occupation rate of market of these three major manufacturers is all more than 10%. The products that fully demonstrated these three brands have possessed very powerful market competition strength. Among them, Kodak occupation rate of market in the investigation has reached 23%. Have won leader of the digital industry Sony's DC products with 4% of the advantages, have occupied the first position where the brand ranks. And Sony relies on occupation rate of market of 19% to rank the position of the second of brand ranks. The manufacturer which ranks the third is old brand Canon of the camera field, which makes the transition in the comparatively successful manufacturer in digital camera field. Canon occupies occupation rate of market of 16% in this investigation, ranks the third. It is the old brand digital camera manufacturer Olympus entering DC field earlier to rank the following brand, then the fifth place is HP which entering digital industry newly. His occupation rate of market is 8%.

Though the rank last year of digital camera of HP occupied the fifth place, but HP has high technology, it is the biggest Hi-Tech company in the world. HP has the most complete product line, there are unanimous strategic steps too, "Hi-Tech, low cost, the best customer experiences". Not only to the customer of big enterprise, but also offer the same strategy for small and medium-sized enterprises too. Secondly, HP is an only company which having the ability to offer the whole, omni-directional, systematic solution. He can combine with digital camera, photo printer, scanner, media center, and integrative machine together, and then the customers can get omni-directional enjoying in management, conveyance, share of the picture. These are very difficult in other manufacturers to set up the advantage fast. So even if HP has weakness of entering the market of digital industry late, so long as continue strengthening the advertising input of products and marketing strategy, can become the digital kingdom certainly in the following several years.
