The Extended Definition of Ethics
The question of ethic definition has always been a controversial issue in the history of ethics. Most ethicists believe that knowledge or ethics is seen as an act experienced for the benefit and security of society.
There are some articles that study Marxism that defines ethics as the sum of behavioural principles and models that adjust people's mutual relations in the world. However, this definition does not summarize the basic connotation of social ethical phenomena and deep ethics experience. As an appearance, ethics is very rich in its connotation and extension. Ethics is more than just a code of conduct. In more places, it is regarded as ethics consciousness, ethic concept, ethics quality, ethic behaviour, ethics education and ethic realm. In people's daily life, it is not only understood as a norm of behaviour but more refers to people's ideology, quality, behaviour and social atmosphere of the group.
However, the definition of ethics as the sum of behavioural norms actually has many drawbacks and hinders people's comprehensive, correct understanding and in-depth exploration of social ethic phenomena. This is not conducive to the full play of ethic function and social role. The development of society is mainly due to the development of social productivity. The development of social productive forces is inseparable from a stable social environment, harmonious interpersonal relationships and the transformation of nature and social enthusiasm, creativity and pioneering spirit of members of society.
From the formation and development of ethics, it is inseparable from human activities. The origin of ethics and human activities are closely linked. This is a special form of human activity, also known as the product of labour. It is precisely because of productive labour that a certain production mode is formed and a certain production relationship is formed. Eventually, there were interests and contradictions between people, which led to the ethics of adjusting these relationships and contradictions. Therefore, the development of ethics is also integrated with the activities of reality, and it cannot leave the independent development of human interaction. According to the long-term observation of experts on the development of children's moral awareness, the development of moral consciousness is closely related to the form of human activities. The initial ethics of a child is consistent with the interaction with the parent and is also compliant and acts in full accordance with the parents' requirements. With the development of children's interactions, children gradually have their own independent moral consciousness. At the same time, there is a self-disciplined ethics adjusted by conscience. The development of ethics is closely related to the form of human activity and applies to the moral development of the entire human society. This shows that ethics and activity cannot be divided, and it is an important part of the activities of real people.
