However within these same things we see many challenges, such as security, cultural barriers or laws and connections. Companies these days are sometimes run globally in which the main headquarters is in one country and there are satellite offices in other regions or countries. In this I will explain some security issues that may arise due to this.
There are many challenges in trying to keep data and other business information safe especially when having offices around the world in multiple countries. Some of these countries may have different laws and rules when it comes to security. This can cause problems when trying to run the business from these multiple places. This meaning that in some countries employees have certain rights and in other countries these rights may not be valid however the company is working in multiple countries with these different rules.
Some of the other problems could be things such as how to secure a connection between offices to transfer files and important data. These would have to be done through some sort of direct connection or via the Internet maybe through a VPN or something of that sort. There may also be communication problems being that they may speak other languages or have other cultural barriers. This can cause a lot of issues insecurity when there may not be a proper understanding of each other's culture and what is expected from them. Some of the other things that cause problems in this area would be things such as security credentials and such. In some countries this is looked at as you don't trust them however in our country we know it's just protection on our part and we need to continue to keep our data and personnel safe.
In conclusion some of the main problems in global security for worldwide businesses is communication, cultural and language barriers and secure connections to offices around the world. However with a little thought these can all be overcome.
