1. The concept of cuteness is standard all in different countries, in this case, it is similar between Japan and the United States. The Appeal of the Hello Kitty merchandise, affects the sales from this markets, because as said, the concept of cuteness (ie Nippon culture) is much preferable for different countries.
2. The said characters of the products such as Hello kitty is more attractive to the younger ages because it is simple, cute and adorable as this is what the younger ages wants from a toy but soon after they found out that this set of features is not only appealing to the younger audience but also to the adults.
Somehow, the Japanese culture greatly affects different countries, in this case, the United states we're also influenced by the Nippon culture from Japan. In real world situations, this is greatly true, not only the United states gets affected by the Japanese culture but also different Asian countries.
