The legal firm Litteral & Finkel has several offices worldwide, and with Riordan operating in multiple locations around the world, it should be noted that any and all legal matters that may arise can be dealt with in a timely manner because of the close proximity of our two companies. It is noted that at the request of Mr. Lowell Bradford, all legal inquiries or requests that pertain to Riordan, go through his office every time. This will ensure that the Mr. Bradford is "in the loop" on all legal issues and ensures that both he and the company do not get blindsided by any possible legal action(s).I believe that this current system is a good system because it guarantees that all legal communications reaches Mr. Bradford.

If at some point down the road, Riordan decides in an effort to possibly save money and increase the profit lines, that they will no longer fully outsource their legal matters, the company should consider executing some sort of document management system that will allow the company as a whole to track and version control all of its contracts and legal documents/matters within a controlled environment. A document management system would give Riordan a central location/database for the legal firm to access in order to provide overview of all their business contracts, as well as other legal documentation or matters as needed by the legal department or corporate. Since the documents would be in a central database, it would allow both corporate and the legal department quick and easy access to any needed data or information from any terminal within the company. This new document management system that could be implemented would also create workflows, and all manufacturing documentation could undergo a new approval workflow from the time the document is created to the time of its release. You could also track revisions or amendments of documents already released by having a revision history page within each document, ensuring that not only are all documents up to date, but that any changes have been documented so that duplicate changes are not applied and personnel are held accountable for the change they have implemented. With the possibility of a new document management system, the company could possibly become more efficient, proficient, and see an increase in revenue as a result.
