Reading chapter 5, made me think about the different images that surrounds us. Now days, young girls are growing up to quickly because they transform themselves into the images that they see on magazines, TV., and whatever looks sexy. Girls aren't living their lives to the fullest and rush into purity. By the age of 12 and 13, these girls dress and act like 20 and 21 year olds. Many of these youngsters don't realize that some of these images are false and invented. I think that magazines editors should be more conscious about what they put on magazines. In today's magazines all you read and see is advise on how to get a perfect body like Tyra Banks, Nicole Kidman and Naomi Campbell. Editors don't realize that by placing articles of such kind can in some cases cause harm to young girls. Another example is even when women do get their implants and are happy, after some time they start complaining about back pain and other pain. Another point that girls don't realize is that models also go through different sickness. Many models have come out and talked about how they starve themselves to death just to comply with the regulations. Most of these models are not happy but do for fame, popularity and money. Young girls need to be provided with more information on their bodies, looks and even on how to diet the right way. Many girls think that everything they see on T.V. is real and think that these women don't go through anything to get their body done. In conclusion, I think that having a perfect body is possible but it is also dangerous to achieve. Having that great body can cause so much harm to one that we don't realize it. I think everyone should just be proud of
