The enjambment becomes faster, and stronger, so the power shows. The word choices as they changed from being depressing to confident and strong. This is evident when she says "it's easy enough to do it in a cell / it's easy enough to do it and stay put / it's a theatrical comeback". First of all, she says that death is an easy manner; she can do it very easily. Also, her power to express the concept of rebirth, by a theatrical return, shows the power she has to look at death and not be afraid or resistant. One reason that Plath believed she was powerful was the fact that she felt she had cheated death. She "toyed" with death a few times and always returned to the living. She seemed fascinated with the idea of dying, but not dying completely (attempting suicide, but surviving). It was like a rush of adrenaline for her.
Also, this is further shown at the end of the poem when Plath says, "out of the ash / I rise with my red hair / and I eat men like air." The words are very strong as they talk about reincarnation or more like coming back from the dead. Also, it's a strong stanza to end the poem with because she says I will eat men like air, which she refers to as her "enemies" or "critics" and these are the doctors who save her whenever she is depressed or attempts to commit suicide. This stanza also has a sense of feminism because she says she will eat the men, which links to the title in which she changes "Lazarus" into "Lady Lazarus". Also Feminism is a constant theme that reoccurs in her poems. For example, it was also present in the poem "Daddy".
