To The Sea They Went

There once was a guy

who was quite shy.

He lived in a fort ,

his stature was nothing but short.

He loved to travel

but he only saw gravel.

It was his dream to see the sea

so then he began to flee.

This man was lonely,

so he brought his one and only.

She was a blonde beauty

with only one duty;

she was to care for the man,

his name was Stan.

not much then him

although very slim.

It was their dream to see that sea,

He was always putting on a show

defiantly the guy to know.

and by gal she was witty.

It was their dream to see the sea,

so again they began to flee.

Val didn't want to feel alone,

so she brought one of her own.

Her brother Jeff was quiet too,

always had a crush but the girl never knew.

He was smart as a fox,

hated the jocks,

loved the nerds,

but never had the words.

It was their dream to see the sea,

so again they began to flee.

Jeff wanted to bring the his crush,

the thought made him blush.

She wore glasses,

did well in classes.

Didn't get out much,

to busy and such.

Long brown hair,

often she'd whisper a prayer.

It was their dream to see the sea,
