This amazing book, written by the greatest author ever, is about twelve year old Danny Walker trying to walk in his dads shoes. It shows the importance of team work and practice. Because we all know practice makes perfect. Danny will try with all his heart to make that true.
See Danny may be the smallest kid on the basketball court but he has the biggest heart. No one plays with more heart or court sense. But none of that matters when he gets cut from his local travel team, the same team his dad led to national prominence when he was Danny's age.

They overcome having nowhere to practice, a horrible injury, and the doubt of their town to prove that not size but HEART and TALENT matter in this game called Basketball.
